Dream Makers Foundation

We want to thank you for your interest and support in the development of the Dream Makers Scholarship Fund. The fund is intended to support and encourage higher education attainment of our state’s best and brightest college bound seniors living in the state’s rural areas. Our initial efforts will focus on the most financially depressed counties in the state.

Given Reverend I. DeQuincey Newman’s lifelong commitment to improve the overall wellbeing of families in rural South Carolina, we have decided that at this juncture of fund development to use all proceeds from the book published by the University of South Carolina Press that details Reverend Newman life and work: The Spirit of an Activist to launch this philanthropic effort. Your contribution provides a significant financial support to the scholarship fund. The Living the Dream booklet and "In Their Own Voices" will be sent as a gift with a donation of $25.00 or more.

Thank you for your ongoing encouragement and support of this important and very necessary project designed to support the educational needs of student of color.
